ORLANDO, Fla. – Schmankerl Stub’n, a German restaurant in downtown Orlando, announced on social media that they will be closing their doors.

The restaurant, located at 131 North Orange Ave, said their last day open will be on New Year’s Eve.

“Making this choice was tough, but considering the current environment downtown and recent incidents, we feel it’s wise to look ahead. We’re thrilled to let you know that we’re planning to move to a new location in 2025, where we will continue to offer the beloved food, drinks, and vibe you enjoy,” the announcement partially stated.

The restaurant opened in the summer of 2023 in the space that used to house Neon Beach.

The restaurant will remain open during normal business hours until New Year’s Eve, according to their post.
