In San Francisco, Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA had to recall numerous bags of Our Family Traverse City Ground Coffee in the United States due to a labeling error, as reported by the Food and Drug Administration.
The recall says bags of Cherry Artificially Flavored Decaf Light Roast Ground Coffee was labeled decaf, but is actually caffeinated.Â
The FDA classified the recall as Class II, indicating that the consumption of this mislabeled product may lead to temporary or easily reversible health issues, or the likelihood of severe health problems is low.
The estimated 4,100 bags were shipped to distribution centers and retail stores in:

- Iowa
- Illinois
- Indiana
- KansasÂ
- Kentucky
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Nebraska
- Ohio
- South Dakota
- Wisconsin
- Wyoming
The recalled product is sold in 12oz bags and has a best before date of 080325, Aug. 3, 2025.Â
The recall is ongoing and began March 13. No other information is available at this time.Â
