BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX announced plans for its next Starlink launch from Florida’s Space Coast, gearing up for the launch on Friday morning.
In an announcement, SpaceX officials stated that a Falcon 9 rocket will be utilized to launch 23 Starlink communications satellites into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
According to the release, liftoff is targeting 10:19 a.m., though backup opportunities will be available until 10:25 a.m.
If needed, there will also be additional launch opportunities on Saturday, starting at 6:17 a.m.
This mission will mark the 21st flight of the first-stage booster, which has been previously deployed for missions such as CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, O3b mPOWER, Ovzon 3, Eutelsat 36D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, SXM-9, and 11 other Starlink missions.
