Traffic alert: Slick spots and crashes throughout Northeast Ohio

We have some slick road conditions this morning with a number of crashes.

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — You’ll need to give yourself some extra time this morning!

In Northeast Ohio, there are several traffic problems due to crashes and slippery road conditions. The Ohio Department of Transportation’s traffic map reveals multiple ongoing issues.

Here’s a look at some of the traffic troubles as of 5:45 a.m.

  • I-480 West at Route 14/Broadway Avenue: Left lane is blocked due to a crash
  • I-271 South near I-480 split: Lane closures expected due to crash
  • I-271 North at Route 8: Right lane is blocked due to a crash
  • I-80 East (Ohio Turnpike) near I-71: Crash
  • I-77 North at Route 21: Crash
  • I-77 South at Route 21/Brecksville Road: Crash
  • I-77 North near Ghent Road: Crash
  • I-77 South near Ridgewood/Miller: Crash
  • I-77 North at Massillon Road: Left lane blocked due to a crash
  • I-76/US 224 West at Route 21: Left lane blocked due to a crash
  • Route 21 North near Route 585: Crash
  • Route 21 South at Wooster Road: Crash
  • 422 West near Cochran Road: Crash
  • Route 8 North at 303: Left lane blocked due to a crash
