CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX is gearing up for an important mission on Tuesday as they plan to launch 23 Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This launch is part of their ongoing efforts to expand and improve their Starlink network that aims to provide global internet coverage.
A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to lift off at 9:05 a.m. from Space Launch Complex 40. The launch window is open until 1:02 p.m.
If needed, additional opportunities are available on Wednesday, starting at 8:36 a.m.
The upcoming launch holds additional significance as it will be the 12th flight for the first-stage booster. This particular booster has previously been utilized in missions such as Crew-8, Polaris Dawn, CRS-31, Astranis: From One to Many, IM-2, and six other Starlink missions. Reusing boosters is a key aspect of SpaceX’s strategy to make space travel more cost-effective and sustainable.
