Man attacked by shark at popular WA surf spot

A man is recovering in hospital after being bitten by a shark near Exmouth in Western Australia on Saturday.

The man was bitten about 12.30pm, at the popular “Bombie” surfing spot near Exmouth, in the Gascoyne region.

It is understood the man took himself to the local hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

People in the area are advised to take extra caution.
