A rapist who targeted a woman at knife point in a ordeal after stalking her in a London Underground station has been jailed for 14 years.
Bodor Ahmed followed his victim as he walked away from the Canning Town subway station on July 19 last year.
At around 10:30 p.m., once they reached a secluded street, Ahmed pulled out a knife and forced the terrified 29-year-old woman into a property where he raped her.
Unbeknownst to Ahmed, a member of the public saw him threaten the woman outside the building and called the police.

Victim
Officers arrived and found the victim in an ‘extremely distressed’ state, before coordinating specialized care for her.
Bodor Ahmed, 27, was jailed for 14 years after he pleaded guilty to rape, threatening a person with a knife and s*xual assault.
Ahmed tried to flee through an underground car park, but officers quickly stopped him and found a large kitchen knife nearby.
Ahmed, from Poplar, East London, admitted to being raped, threatening a person with a knife and s*xual assault at Snaresbrook Crown Court in September.
Today, he was incarcerated for 14 years.
Investigation
Police Detective Robert Burkin, who worked on the investigation, said: ‘Ahmed’s actions were absolutely appalling. He armed himself with a knife before carrying out an unprovoked attack on a defenseless woman to his perverse gratification.
‘I would like to commend the victim for the courage and integrity that he has shown throughout the investigation.
‘This was a terrible test, but I hope this sentence gives you a sense of closure.
Arrest
I would also like to thank the member of the public who called the police when they saw the woman in danger. His quick thinking of her meant that officers could respond quickly and arrest Ahmed at the scene. ‘
