Police in Texas have asked for the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old girl who vanished on Sunday.
Alison Ramirez-Lopez was last seen in Irving when she set out on foot to go to a birthday celebration. Reports from The Dallas Morning News state that she never made it to the party, and her absence was reported to the authorities 13 hours later.
Law enforcement speculates that Ramirez-Lopez may be in Alabama or a nearby state. Because there is a chance she has left Texas, no AMBER Alert has been activated.
Irving police could potentially issue an alert if their inquiries suggest that Ramirez-Lopez has returned to Texas, as per KXAS. The reasons behind her departure from the state have not been disclosed by officials.
Ramirez-Lopez was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, and black shoes with pink soles.
