Some 145 revellers have been stabbed with syringes in a wave of horror attacks at a music festival in France.
Adolescent victims were the main target, and they were transported to the hospital for toxicology screenings due to concerns that they might have received an injection of an unknown toxin.


Some reported feeling unwell following the pricks.
Millions took to the cobblestone pavements across France on Saturday to attend a street music festival called Fête de la Musique (World Music Day).
The stabbings happened across France with 13 jabbed in Paris after “unprecedented crowds” hit the capital, according to cops.
Disgusting calls on social media had spread before the festival calling for women to be stabbed, according to Le Monde.
French cops have arrested 12 people over the sick act.
Some 50 were stabbed in the south-western city of Angoulême.
They have not clarified if the syringes were spiked with a chemical – such as date-rape drug GHB.
Ten girls are alleged to have been attacked by one man with a syringe in the northeastern French city of Metz.
Cops tracked the suspect down by using CCTV footage, according to mayor Francois Grosdidier.
A spokesperson stated, “The local police apprehended him on Rue Serpenoise, took him into custody, and handed him over to the National Police and the judicial authorities.”
“I hope that the investigation, particularly through the examination of his cellphone, will lead to the identification of other attackers.”
Some 370 people were arrested at the country-wide festival at-large on various charges.
It comes as a bride was gunned down at her own wedding on Sunday after a gang of hooded gunmen arrived.
It has been reported a gang of four hooded gunmen pulled up in a Golf 8 and opened fire on the bride and groom as they were leaving the celebration.
According to the Carpentras prosecutor’s office in Le Parisien, the bride was tragically killed, alongside one of the attackers.
It is alleged they were crushed by the groom’s car as he tried to escape.
