Nearly 800 illegal aliens arrested in massive Florida ICE operation: 'Tidal Wave'

During the initial days of Operation Tidal Wave, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Miami, alongside Florida law enforcement agencies, successfully apprehended close to 800 undocumented immigrants. This concerted effort marks a significant milestone in the collaborative approach to immigration enforcement.

Reports obtained by Fox News shed light on some of the notable arrests made by ICE as part of this ongoing operation. The apprehended individuals include a convicted murderer from Colombia, suspected members of notorious gangs like MS-13 and 18th Street, as well as a Russian national with an Interpol Red Notice linked to a case of manslaughter.

Jose Sanchez Reyes, a Colombian illegal immigrant who entered the U.S. as a getaway, was convicted of homicide in his home country.

The announcement was made after two judges were arrested this week for allegedly hiding illegal immigrants from ICE.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan is facing charges of impeding an official investigation and obstructing the apprehension of an individual to prevent their detection and arrest. Allegations suggest that Judge Dugan attempted to shield a migrant from ICE authorities, leading to the legal ramifications now being pursued.

Former Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano, 68, and his wife, Nancy Cano, 67, were charged with evidence tampering amid allegations they harbored a member of Venezuela’s violent Tren de Aragua gang, Cristhian Ortega-Lopez.

Fox News Digital’s Louis Casiano contributed to this report.
