AccuWeather forecast for NYC, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut

NEW YORK (WABC) — We’re posting an AccuWeather Alert for Wednesday, as showers and thunderstorms return.
Clouds will increase overnight, with a line of broken storms from a cold front arriving by sunrise.
Some of those storms could be severe, with strong wind gusts, heavy downpours and lightning. Some localized flooding is possible.
The good news is things clear out later in the day, and Thursday finally brings a welcome dose of dry, refreshing air with temperatures in the mid 70s.
Amidst all this, we continue our close watch on Hurricane Lee as it barrels northward through the open Atlantic.
