Maine Governor and Trump Clash on Executive Order Regarding Women’s Sports Leads to Scrutiny of University’s Compliance with Title IX

President Donald Trump, during a meeting at the White House with the country’s governors on a Friday, mentioned his Executive Order regarding Title IX and the participation of biological men in women’s sports. He pointed out that some states are refusing to comply with this order, specifically calling out Maine’s governor who confirmed that her state will not adhere to the new directive. Sister Toldjah, a colleague, highlighted the encounter:
