Alec Baldwin threatened the life of a Trump impersonator who goaded him about the Rust shooting in a shocking viral video this week.
Lead Rust actor and co-producer Baldwin, 66, was pointing a gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal on set when the revolver went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza on October 21, 2021.
The involuntary manslaughter case was thrown out last year with Baldwin returning to work in Hollywood and even filming a reality show.
However, the shock shooting was front and center of Trump impersonator Jason Scoop’s comedy routine as he branded Baldwin a ‘murderer’ outside his NYC home, with the actor threatening to ‘break his neck’ during the confrontation.
Comedian Scoop, who donned a suit and a blond wig for the meet, was seen approaching Baldwin as he unpacked his car, saying: ‘Alec it’s your favorite President. Alec, I will offer you a total pardon because I want to be friends.’
Following Baldwin to his car, he said: ‘I will give you a total pardon for murdering that woman if you kiss the ring, kiss the ring, kiss the ring Alec.
‘Come on, look at Alec Baldwin, he did that impersonation of me, it was not too hot, not too hot… Look at that suitcase.
‘Alec if you don’t want that pardon for murdering that woman in cold blood, you can call it first degree,
Scoop then imitated Hutchins, telling Baldwin: ‘She’s looking down on me, smiling, happy, “thank you for confronting the man who took me out, who killed me.”
A visibly irate Baldwin stepped close to Scoop, saying: ‘Now, now, now, let me ask you a question. Now I want you to look at me, look at me .
‘Have you got a camera on me now?… My kids live in this building.’
Scoop quipped: ‘We love the children, we’re doing great deals for the children.’
Baldwin appeared to tap Scoop on the shoulder and said:Â ‘If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f*****g neck in half and break your f*****g neck, you know that don’t you?’
Scoop stepped away from Baldwin and said:Â ‘Alec Baldwin, class act’ as the actor called out:Â ‘Why don’t you get out of here… I want you out of here!’
Scoop said: ‘I’m a citizen, born and raised in New York City’ before Baldwin threatened to ‘take that camera and shove it up your a**.’
Closing the video, the comedian said:Â ‘He’s strong but also weak because he murdered that woman.’
DailyMail.com has contacted a representative for Baldwin for comment.Â
Baldwin’s trial for involuntary manslaughter was thrown out after a judge ruled evidence had been mishandled.
The Boss Baby star has repeatedly insisted that he didn’t pull the trigger of the gun or know why it contained live ammunition.Â
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film’s armorer, was jailed for 18 months in April after being found guilty of charges connected to the incident.
Rust resumed filming and finished its shoot in May 2023, saying in an Instagram post marking its completion: ‘It’s been a long and difficult road. But we reach the end of the trail today.’
Earlier this month, a judge upheld an involuntary manslaughter conviction against the movie’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, in the fatal shooting of Hutchins.Â
Gutierrez-Reed asked a New Mexico court to dismiss her conviction or convene a new trial, alleging that prosecutors failed to share evidence that could have cleared her over the shooting on the set of Rust.Â
Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer, however, explained in her written order that Gutierrez-Reed’s attorneys did not establish that there was a reasonable possibility that the outcome of the trial would have been different had the evidence been available to her.Â
The judge also rejected a request from Gutierrez-Reed that she be released from custody, saying it was moot because the request for a new trial was denied.Â
In July, Marlow Sommer halted and ended Baldwin’s trial based on misconduct of police and prosecutors and their withholding evidence from the defense in the 2021 shooting of Hutchins.Â
