BOLO: Police Seek Tips on Missing NC Woman with Memory Issues

The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a woman who hasn’t been seen since last month.

BCSO reports that Amanda Smith was last seen at her home on February 25 and that her hair is now shorter than it appears in her missing photo.

According to ANC 13, law enforcement suspects she might be in the downtown Asheville area and could be struggling to recall or share her home address due to cognitive health challenges. She was last seen possibly dressed in a grey sweater.

Anyone with information should call the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670.
