The Brownsville Police Department seeks the community’s assistance in finding a missing teenage girl.

Sofia Lilibeth Martinez, a sixteen-year-old girl, was last spotted by her family on January 18 around 7:30 p.m. while walking close to the Paseo Plaza Apartments.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches in height, weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair, and hazel eyes. Martinez was dressed in a light blue shirt, red pajama pants, and had a white nylon backpack with her at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Brownsville police at 956-548-7000.
