It’s about divorced, social-climbing mum Amanda (Lucy Punch) who’s forced to relocate to the less-than-salubrious area of South Harlesden in London. She insists on calling it SoHa.

Her mum is played by Joanna Lumley. Beneath the comedy it’s a beautiful, tender story about a mother and daughter’s love – which is exactly what we all need.

Given the explosion of knife crime, all these tender young kids should read the play – to learn it always ends in tragedy.
