‘Turkey’s Mystic Meg’ astrologer ARRESTED for predicting government collapse after tragic death ‘written in the stars’

The country’s counterpart to Mystic Meg in Turkey has been taken into custody after foreseeing the downfall of the government due to her prediction of a high-ranking politician’s unfortunate passing.

Hilal Sarac has been accused of insulting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Nationalist Movement Party leader Devlet Bahceli with her predictions.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of the Turkish astrologer while the accusations were investigated.

In a post to her 155,000 followers on X, Sarac said: “I think Devlet Bahceli should have his lungs checked.

“If I am the best medical astrologer in the country, which I am, he has a very serious lung problem and shortness of breath.”

She suggested that Bahceli would die before the next election, causing the Turkish government to collapse and forcing an early election.

Sarac said: “I swear he won’t see the election.

“The election will be early anyway.”

Sarac then added that one of Turkey’s leading politicians was about to die.

She explained: “I’m not brave enough to write who it is, but I think you’re smart enough to understand.”

Sarac defended her predictions and said that they were based on medical astrology.

Medical astrology interprets health conditions through astrological charts.

Sarac’s arrest has sparked debate in Turkey about freedom of speech, with people rushing to social media to share their opinions.

One social media user said the arrest was a “step backwards for democracy”, while another joked that horoscopes may be banned next.

Another responded saying she should not have made such “irresponsible statements” that could cause unrest.

Legal proceedings against Sarac are ongoing.
