Amherst Police in New York are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 38-year-old woman.

Kamalpreet Kaur was last seen on Monday afternoon near Maple Road and North Forest Road in Amherst by her family members. She was with two young children and had plans to travel to Canada, although authorities confirmed she never entered the country.

Described as of Indian descent, Kaur is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. Additionally, she has a tattoo of an infinity sign on her left forearm.

During her last sighting, Kaur was dressed in black pants and a beige T-shirt. She was driving a black 2022 Nissan Murano SUV with a white Excelsior New York license plate bearing the number JAT8162.

Details regarding the children’s descriptions have not been released.
