Two people were in moderate condition and two had light wounds, according to Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency rescue service.
Ichilov Hospital said one person was in moderate-severe condition with a stab wound to the neck.
Although the assailant was not explicitly identified by the authorities, they suspect the stabbings were motivated by terrorism. The attack transpired in a vibrant district teeming with eateries and coffee shops.
It’s understood the attacker was shot dead by an armed civilian.
