These statements were made today by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has rarely been seen since the commencement of the attacks. This came after US President Donald Trump insisted on “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” in a post on social media and cautioned Khamenei that the US is aware of his whereabouts but currently has no intentions to eliminate him, “at least for now.”
Initially, Trump distanced himself from Israel’s unexpected assault on Friday that initiated the conflict. However, he has lately implied a stronger American participation, expressing a desire for something “much more significant” than just a truce. The US has also dispatched additional warplanes to the area.
Israel welcomes first repatriation flights
Israelis began returning on flights for the first time since the country’s international airport shut down at the start of the conflict.
On Wednesday morning, two flights from Larnaca, Cyprus, arrived at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport, confirmed Lisa Dvir, a spokesperson for the airport.
Israel closed its airspace to commercial flights because of the ballistic missile attacks, leaving tens of thousands of Israelis stranded abroad. The conflict has disrupted flight patterns across the region.
