Six people were arrested in a sex trafficking operation in Illinois targeting people soliciting children in commercial sex acts.
Illinois State Police said the operation took place on December 4 and 5 in the Rockford area, KCRG reported.
Six individuals were taken into custody as part of the operation. Among those arrested, five were residents of Illinois, while the sixth individual hailed from Wisconsin. The charges brought against them included indecent solicitation of a child/aggravated sex, traveling to meet a child, and solicitation to meet a child who was at least 5 years old. However, no further information regarding the operation or the specific charges laid against the individuals was disclosed.
The individuals who were arrested and charged in this case were Nathan D. Hayes, 31; Lavonte D. Allen, 32; Jon D. Juhlin, 58; Harry J. Hulmes III, 57; Carlos A. Rivera, 50; and Gerald L. Hochastatter, 71. Notably, Hochastatter was the individual who resided outside of Illinois, coming from Wisconsin.
