A MODEL who is the daughter of a British businessman was kidnapped with her husband and child outside a restaurant in Brazil.
Luciana Curtis, her husband Henrique Gendre and their 11-year-old child are now recovering from the horrific ordeal where they were held in a shack.
The family was ambushed by armed robbers who held them captive for approximately 12 hours. During this time, the robbers reportedly took off with their car and withdrew money from their bank accounts before finally letting them go.
The trio were leaving a restaurant in Alto do Lapa on Wednesday night when they were snatched by the gang of robbers.
It was only the following morning that the alarm was raised by the couple’s eldest child who found that her family had not returned home, according to local reports.
The terrified daughter contacted a relative who called the police.
