A man is alleged to have thrown brass knuckles through a school bus window in Marion County; his sister is also charged

A man in Marion County, Fla., was taken into custody for causing about $400 in harm to a school bus in retaliation for an incident involving his sister and the bus driver, as per an official statement.

Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 15900 block of SW 35th Court Road after a report of an individual hurling brass knuckles through the bus window.

Deputies said they spoke with the bus driver who said he noticed a Toyota Camry following him, which was being driven by 25-year-old Bryan Francois.

The driver said he tried to change his route to avoid the Camry, but Bryan Francois continued to follow the bus to its final stop.

After all the children had disembarked from the bus, Bryan Francois came forward and flung the brass knuckles through the window while the bus was pulling away, the statement explained.

Deputies said they discovered that earlier that day, the suspect’s sister – 33-year-old Natasha Francois – entered the same bus and started a verbal fight with the driver.

She was told to leave the school bus numerous times but refused and continued to cause a disturbance, deputies reported. Natasha Francois eventually exited the bus and left.

Deputies said that during an interview with Bryan Francois and Natasha Francois, the man admitted to following the bus because he was mad about the morning incident with his sister and the driver.

According to the release, he also admitted to throwing the brass knuckles through the window of the bus as it drove away.

The siblings were both arrested after the interview and taken to the Marion County jail, deputies said.
