Christina Chang Is Happily Married to Soam Lall Who Puts Family First Is a Doting Dad to Their Only Child

Christina Chang is a fan favorite on the hit series “The Good Doctor,” but away from the camera, the Taiwanese movie star is a devoted wife to her longtime husband Soam Lall and a doting mom to their child.

Christina Chang is no strange name around the Hollywood circle. Chang has been a regular cast member of the hit series “The Good Doctor,” where she plays the beloved Dr. Audrey Lim.

Chang appeared in the show’s first season as a recurring character but snatched up a permanent spot for the second season. Chang’s Dr. Audrey Lim is the chief of surgery and attending trauma surgeon.

The show, which began in 2017 and has run for five seasons, has become a vital part of Chang’s life. The actress confessed that she finds many similarities with her on-screen character, making it easy to play. She said,

“I love my character. Some of her qualities are similar to mine, and then, other parts of her are not. So it’s fun and challenging to play her, and it becomes easier when you know the character well.”

Chang began her journey in the movie industry after moving to the United States as a 17-year-old. Besides taking on roles in major series, the 50-year-old has also worked on Broadway; she played a role in “The Trojan Women.”

Chang has appeared in and guest-starred on several popular television shows, including “Nashville,” “Desperate Housewives,” “24,” and “Rizzoli & Isles.” She also appeared in the films “Random Hearts,” “28 Days,” “Deadline,” and “Girls Club.”

Despite being a talented movie star, Chang appears to have other passions and areas of interest, including caring for her children. The actress is also a devoted wife and a doting mom.

Chang is married to her heartthrob, Soam Lall, and the couple has a daughter, Samara, born on October 5, 2012. The actress and her husband are private about their personal lives and prefer to keep things out of the spotlight.

But, the duo frequently takes to their social media to share sweet family moments and celebrate family holidays such as birthdays. Chang recently took to her Instagram to celebrate Lall’s birthday, and she did so with style.

Chang’s husband, Lall, has vast experience in the tech world. According to his LinkedIn profile, he works as the director of Social Code, a technology data platform company that helps businesses with advertising and marketing.

Lall also runs an IT company called Kinnecting. He founded the company in 2014 and said his wife’s absence served as inspiration for the app. Kinnecting helps parents find other parents and share experiences. 

Lall is also a devoted family man. His Instagram bio shows that he puts his family first before anything else. Lall counts himself lucky to have the family he has. From his Instagram pictures, Lall has a special bond with his daughter.

A few years ago, Chang announced that the family had revamped their home to suit their demands since they no longer raised a toddler. The star’s decoration depicted her diverse family heritage.
