During season 29 of The Bachelor, a conflict between Carolina Quixano, a public relations manager, and Dina Lupancu has been heating up. It all started when Dina posted a brief video on TikTok that seemed to be directed at Carolina, a speculation that was confirmed when Carolina responded with her own video using the same sound.
Dina’s video included the text,
“When you defend the one person nobody else would…just to get played the next week. Your honor, I’d like to withdraw as counsel”.

Carolina responded with,
“Seeing someone use this sound as if I don’t have screenshots of our conversation as evidence”.
In a preview for episode 5, Dina and Sarafiena Watkins are seen confronting Carolina about how much time she spends with Grant. Dina even goes so far as to tell Carolina that approaching Grant would be considered “crazy,” prompting Carolina to retort, “I guess I’m crazy and evil.”
Prior to their social media exchange, Dina had actually stood up for Carolina amidst conflicts with the other contestants, expressing empathy for Carolina and stating that she believes Carolina is misunderstood. Dina even mentioned that she thinks Carolina envisions a future with Grant.
The women in the show find Carolina to be negative when they are all trying to be more positive. Carolina told Grant that she just wanted to have fun and not have drama.
Grant said that it hurt to hear that she was questioning his character and their time together and asked her to come to him with his doubts and not talk about it with the other women.
