Mystery deepens over ‘extermination camp’ & mass grave found in Mexico as gang blamed for horror insists it’s not theirs

A NOTORIOUS Mexican gang has denied having anything to do with the horrifying extermination camps discovered in Teuchitlán, Jalisco.

A group of individuals who identified themselves as part of the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación gang accused activist organizations of fabricating a false narrative against them in a chilling video circulated on social media.

Early in March, volunteers engaged in the search for missing relatives stumbled upon a mass grave area that included three crematoriums, charred bones, and heaps of discarded personal belongings at the Izaguirre Ranch property, situated approximately 90 miles east of Puerto Vallarta.

The Mexican Attorney General, Alejandro Gertz, pledged to conduct a thorough investigation of the burial ground suspected to have served as a training facility for the CJNG.

However, alleged CJNG members said there was nothing linking them to the property in a video shared on social media on Monday.

Dozens of people claiming to be gang members stood in black uniforms, wearing masks and holding guns, as a spokesperson for the group read a letter insisting they had no involvement with the site.

The group said one of the groups that found the site, the Searching Mothers, invented claims they had run the camp in an attempt to harm the group.

The members then slammed that the activists’ findings contradicted what the federal government had already said.

The Jalisco Attorney General’s Office said in a statement the ranch was originally discovered in September 2024.

During two raids at the time, the National Guard arrested 10 people, released two kidnapped people, and found one person dead.

They then concluded the investigation – until volunteer searchers led to the area thanks to an anonymous phone call a few weeks ago.

“On March 8, 2025, a group of Searching Mothers, supported by who knows who, completely contradicted the evidence found six months earlier by federal agents,” the group said.

“What did they find? How much did they find? They found nothing!”

The group spokesperson continued, “The reality is the property was always secured by the federal government, by patrol units on the ground and air.

“They also reassured the public there was no presence of organized crime during that time period.”

The group insisted they had no presence in that area.

They also accused the Searching Mothers group of breaking the law by going onto the property and planting alleged evidence.

“What the group of mothers did was plant a horror movie to cause outrage on social media,” the group slammed.

“What are they hiding, who is endorsing them?

“Why are they trying to prosecute the Jalisco New Generation Cartel with lies, fabricated stories, and without foundation.”

The group also said, “We are criminals, but we are governed by standards.”

They concluded the video by asking the media not to distort the truth and spread “panic.”

Officials haven’t responded to the video.
