Having been Zendaya’s stylist since 2011, Law Roach has been responsible for dressing the star for some of the biggest moments of her career.
Her Met Gala appearance as a co-chair, premieres for some of her biggest productions like the Dune and Spider-Man movies, and covers of magazines including Vogue have all been prominent fashion instances that Roach has helped facilitate.
But all of these fashion moments feel like insignificant events compared to the real deal: Zendaya’s future wedding dress.
The world found out Zendaya and Tom Holland, both 28, were engaged in a way that felt appropriate for the couple – not by announcement, but by Zendaya stepping out on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet donning a dazzling ring.
Most fans assume that as soon as the engagement happened, Roach must have jumped into planning mode for one of the most important looks for Zendaya he’s ever done.
But in an interview with Complex, Roach dropped some pretty saddening news.
In the midst of speaking about his own experiences his hopes for the fashion industry, the interviewer asked if he had started dreaming up Zendaya’s wedding dress.
‘No,’ Roach responded.

Law Roach has been Zendaya’s stylist since 2011, and is likely the person who would style her for her wedding to Tom Holland

Zendaya and Tom Holland never publicly announced their engagement, but fans put it together after she wore her engagement ring to the 2025 Golden Globes

Most fans assume that as soon as the engagement happened, Roach must have jumped into planning mode for one of the most important looks for Zendaya he’s ever done
‘Zendaya is working on like… Zendaya has like six movies coming out,’ Roach added.
‘I’m thinking about the press tours.’
And while there’s no doubt that when it is time to start thinking about the dress Roach will rise to the occasion, it might not be something that the public will get to fawn over.
‘It’ll probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see,’ he said.
Roach went on to explain something that fans already know well – Zendaya and Holland are pretty private of a couple.
He said that he doesn’t exactly see a Vogue spread for their nuptials, as they tend to want to keep things about their relationship between themselves.
And if you’re hoping that one of the probable celeb invites to the occasion will give a sneak peak of the look, Roach basically said to keep dreaming.
‘The people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy,’ he said.

In an interview with Complex, Roach revealed he hasn’t started thinking about Zendaya’s wedding dress

Fans speculated the Roach’s calm demeanor was a sign that the wedding already happened
‘So, it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.’
While Roach moved on from the conversation after that, the fans did not.
A clip of the hour-long interview went viral on X, formerly Twitter, with users making assumptions that based on Roach’s calm demeanor and surety that Zendaya wouldn’t want anyone to see the wedding dress, the wedding already happened.
‘Law basically saying it already happened and we’re quietly moving on,’ one user wrote.
Another user said, ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if they got married shortly after the engagement given how booked and busy they both are right now.’
‘I firmly believe this,’ another X user said, referring to the assumption that the pair already said their I do’s.’
‘He’s giving a very relaxed attitude like the wedding is all over and done with.’
Whether the wedding already secretly happened or hasn’t even been thought of yet, one thing is for sure – even if the public never sees the dress, it’s probably a work of art.
