Sources Say Missing Texas Realtor’s DNA Found on Saw Her Husband Tried to Hide

Law enforcement reportedly has told the family of a missing Texas realtor that her DNA was found on a reciprocating saw her husband tried to hide.

Last week, Brad Simpson was charged with the murder of Suzanne Clark Simpson, who went missing on October 6. The indictment, issued on Tuesday, accuses him of first-degree murder, tampering with a corpse, tampering with evidence, and possession of prohibited weapons, as per a report by KSAT.

He was arrested three days after the disappearance on charges of assault-family violence and unlawful restraint.

Reports from KSAT highlighted that two unnamed sources disclosed the discovery of DNA on a reciprocating saw, but the identities of these sources remain undisclosed. On the other hand, KENS received information from family members regarding the presence of DNA on the saw. Notably, investigators have not publicly announced any concrete evidence directly connecting Simpson to his wife’s assumed homicide.

As per the indictment details, Simpson made an attempt to conceal the saw on October 8, the day prior to his apprehension, with the intention to hinder its accessibility as potential evidence.

Simpson is due in court on Monday.
