DONALD Trump has opened up about why his son Barron decided to study at New York University and revealed the four rules he told him.
The president had a discussion with New York Post columnist Miranda Devine during the inaugural episode of the outlet’s Pod Force One podcast, where they delved into various topics ranging from family matters to the protests in Los Angeles and his recent altercation with Elon Musk.

Barron, 19, is Trump’s only child with his wife and first lady Melania.
In the podcast, Trump shared details about the relationship Barron had with her late mom, Amalija Knavs.

“He wanted to be there because his grandmother was gonna stay and wait for him in an apartment near the school. And she passed away.”
Trump also revealed he told Barron, who has just finished his freshman year, to be wary of the left-leaning teachers at NYU.
Barron didn’t follow in his siblings footsteps when he made the choice to study in New York.
Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr, studied at the University of Pennsylvania.
Both graduated with degrees in economics.
