DONALD Trump has unveiled a shocking new look just weeks ahead of his second inauguration.
The president-elect flaunted a noticeably flatter hairstyle without the usual orange hue in an appearance at his Florida golf club.
At the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, a video captured Trump sporting a casual look with a polo shirt featuring his branding tucked into his pants.
The clip was shared by his close ally, Michael Solakiewicz, a young pro-Trump influencer.
Wearing the Trump polo shirt and carrying a red MAGA hat, the Republican walked into the room to loud applause.
“Is everybody having a good time?” he asks the gathered audience, before jokingly adding, “Is everybody a Republican?”
His new style has drawn comparisons to that of his youngest son Barron Trump.
Some also said the 78-year-old’s ‘do could be a simple case of “hat hair.”
Overall, the hairstyle got a mixed reception.
“Trump cut his hair and now he looks like an angry grandpa at a country club,” one user wrote on X.
“He also seems to be going easy on the orange.”
Another user compared him to Buzz McCallister, the older brother of Macaulay Culkin’s character in the Home Alone franchise.
However, others said they would be asking for the “Trump 2025” look when they went to the barber store next.
Trump’s hair has been a key part of his image for many decades, back before he entered the world of politics.
Puffed up at the sides and top, and with a distinct orange tinge, it has attracted both imitation and mockery over the years.
He previously ditched his signature look in 2019 when he wore his hair slicked back during a visit to a church in Virginia.
The life of Barron Trump
Barron Trump is the youngest son of former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump.
The U.S. Sun takes a look back at Barron Trump’s life.
Barron was born on March 20, 2006, to parents Melania and Donald Trump.
Barron was seen with his dad when the real estate tycoon was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.
During his childhood, Barron was also pictured with his parents at the US Open Tennis championships.
Barron went viral when he sleepily struggled to keep his eyes open as Trump gave a victory speech following the 2016 presidential election.
Barron attended school in New York before continuing his studies in Maryland in May 2017.
He would often be pictured in and around the White House grounds during his father’s presidency.
In January 2021, Donald Trump departed Washington DC, after losing the 2020 presidential election. The family relocated to Florida.
Barron continued his studies at the Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Barron turned 18 on March 20, 2024.
He graduated from the Oxbridge Academy on May 17, 2024.
On September 4, 2024, Barron started college and was pictured at New York University in Manhattan.
During Donald Trump’s campaign, Barron was often credited as a key motivator for Trump’s involvement in podcasts and YouTube channels targeting a younger male audience.
He is listed as the DeFi visionary (short for decentralized finance) for Donald Trump’s new cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial.
Trump has spoken about his hair in the past, tweeting in 2013 about his pride at still having it.
“As everybody knows, but the haters and losers refuse to acknowledge, I do not wear a ‘wig,'” he wrote.
“My hair may not be perfect but it’s mine.”
In a 2011 interview with Rolling Stone, he denied that his hair was a “comb-over,” and said he had combed his hair “the same way for years.”
And an obsession with hair clearly runs in the family, based on a biography of his father, Fred Christ Trump.
Gwenda Blair’s book The Trumps: Three Generations of Builders and a Presidential Candidate mentions Fred, a real estate magnate, had a preference for coloring his hair a shade of red with a touch of magenta in his later years.
In the 1940s, he also wore his hair longer than average for men at the time and combed up in a smooth wave away from his head.
