Disturbing new details have emerged in the torture and murder of 16-year-old Miranda Corsette.
Court documents have revealed that a minimum of six individuals were aware that Steven Gress, 37, and Michelle Brandes, 35, were keeping Miranda hostage before her unfortunate demise.
Gress supposedly shared pictures of Miranda, showing visible bruises, with three people, including his mother. Although his mother claimed she did not look at the images, she confessed that her son did try to discuss Miranda with her. She mentioned that she refused to engage in the conversation, informing him that she did not wish to be informed.
At least two neighbors claimed to have seen Miranda in a distressed state at the residence. Additionally, a woman residing with Gress and Brandes recounted witnessing a week of torment, the eventual murder, and the subsequent efforts to clean up the scene.
The documents also outline a detailed timeline, including a trip to celebrate Brandes’ birthday at a Popeyes restaurant—while Miranda’s dismembered remains allegedly sat in Gress’ trunk.
