‘Two dead’ in horror plane crash after jet plunges near airport and crashes into street in Buenos Aires

An incident occurred in Argentina where a private jet collided with a building, resulting in a large fire and the tragic deaths of two individuals.

According to reports, the plane was in the process of landing at San Fernando Airport in Buenos Aires when the catastrophic event unfolded.

Witnesses mentioned that the aircraft seemed to veer out of control during the landing approach, ultimately overshooting the runway and colliding with a residential building.

It then erupted into flames killing the pilot and co-pilot, who were the only people on board at the time.

They have been identified as 35-year-old Agustín Orforte and 44-year-old Martín Fernández Loza.

Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to put a blaze out and investigators are now probing the wreck.

The pilots were returning from Uruguay where they had been chartered to go earlier in the morning.

San Fernando Airport is in the a northwest suburb of Buenos Aires and only sees a small number of flights through it each year.
