A 22-year-old San Diego County man has been arrested for the murder of his newborn son.
Emergency responders were called to a report of a violent incident where they discovered an unconscious baby on the floor of a living room. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the infant was pronounced dead at the scene, and David Ruiz was arrested in connection with the incident.
Authorities mentioned that the details surrounding the crime were not fully understood at that moment, and investigators were actively seeking more information to shed light on the situation.
The baby had “apparent trauma” to his head.
