Michigan Dad Joins Mom With Lengthy Prison Sentence in Death of 14-Month-Old Son

The father of a 14-month-old Michigan baby was sentenced last week to 15 to 70 years in prison for the boy’s death.

In October 2021, Isaias Aurelio Porras and Amanda Jajou were taken into custody following the discovery of Isaias Daniel Porras deceased at a motel in Farmington Hills, where the family had been residing, as stated by WDIV.

Family members had requested a welfare check on the boy.

Jajou faced charges of second-degree murder, second-degree child abuse, and being an accessory after the fact. She was convicted last year and received a 15 to 60-year prison sentence.

Porraswas charged with first degree child abuse and felony murder.
