Authorities in Washington, D.C., are currently in search of a 3-year-old girl who they believe was taken by her father without custody during a supervised visit at the courthouse in the city.
The missing child, Brooklyn Tucker, is described as being 3 feet in height, weighing 40 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. She was last spotted wearing a black and red checkered dress paired with gold jellybean shoes.
Brooklyn Tucker, a critical missing person, was last sighted in the 500 block of Indiana Ave, NW, on April 17, 2025, in the company of her non-custodial father, Devon Tucker.

They did not provide a description of Devon Tucker, although they did post a photo of him carrying the little girl and said they were last seen in the 500 block of Indiana Avenue NW, which is the address of the H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse.
Police told the Washington Post that Devon Tucker rushed out of the courthouse with the little girl at the end of family visitation.
