A crash is causing huge delays on the M62 on the way into Huddersfield.
Traffic is currently at a standstill on the busy motorway with lane three of three completely shut. The crash has happened on the M62 eastbound just before Junction 23, A640 New Hey Road, Huddersfield.
Drivers are being warned of at least a 15 minute delay, according to traffic monitoring system Inrix, with three miles of traffic currently building up.

It was first reported at 1.08pm and in an update posted on the site at 1.11pm today, it states: “One lane closed and queueing traffic for three miles due to accident on M62 Eastbound before J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield). Travel time is around 15 minutes.
“Lane three (of three) is closed. This is separate to the earlier accident which was further east.”
West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for a comment.
