A Florida man is behind bars after he allegedly stabbed a woman “multiple” times Sunday morning.
Pensacola Police said they arrested Dominique Fountain, 35, and charged him with attempted murder, WEAR reported.
Police were called to the scene for a welfare check at about 6 a.m.
“A passerby who called 911 discovered a female victim with several stab wounds,” stated the authorities in a press release. “Following an argument inside a residence, the altercation moved outdoors where the victim sustained multiple stab wounds during a physical confrontation.”
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Fountain was identified as the suspect, located, and arrested.
