THE official account for auto giant Ford has posted out anti-Israel messages in an apparent hack.
In posts shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Ford’s account pushed pro-Palestine slogans, including ones with the Palestinian flag.
A further message on X said “ALL EYES ON GAZA.”
The posts contained incendiary political messages that were quickly screenshot and shared.
The account is believed to have been hacked, with a number of users taking to X to demand the auto giant put out a statement addressing the posts.
“Hack or someone got fired,” one X user wrote, sharing a screengrab of the since-deleted posts.
“Did Ford get hacked?” asked a second.
A third individual, in response to one of the posts that have since been deleted, stated, “You have 60 minutes to terminate someone from their position, or we will be forced to believe that Ford supports Hamas.”
Ford did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s requests for comment.
The company trades in Israel, and in 2023, the Israeli military began using Ford’s SandCat Tigris 4×4 armored vehicles.
Many have been deployed as part of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas being fought in the Gaza Strip.
