Gemma Collins has revealed that she is growing her own vegetables and is even keeping chickens and goats.Â
The reality TV personality, 44, has been working on her off grid garden to help maintain her recent two stone weight loss.Â
Giving an insight into her gardening routine, she shared her top tips during an update in a new interview.Â
Gemma shared with Closer magazine her enthusiasm for growing her own vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, and spring onions. She expressed how satisfying it is to enjoy the delicious taste of fresh produce straight from the garden.
In addition to her vegetable garden, Gemma mentioned that she already keeps chickens and has goats on order. She also shared that she dedicates one day a week to gardening, which helps her to manage and maintain her garden effectively.

Gemma continued: ‘Mine is a Tuesday. And I say don’t wear gloves – I like to get my hands in the soil of the garden and feel all – the dirt – that’s real life!
‘It’s liberating to wash the soil out of your fingernails after a long day in the garden. I also like experimenting with having a wild garden for the butterflies and the bees.’Â
It comes after the star claimed she’s ‘saving the NHS’ by taking Mounjaro after losing a ‘life-changing’ two stone.
Gemma said she’ll no longer need to go to the NHS with an ‘obesity related illness’ thanks to the help of the medication.
She revealed in January that she’d been taking the NHS approved Mounjaro injections and has left fans stunned with her incredible transformation.
She told The Mirror: ‘I’ve lost so much weight, you wouldn’t believe it. It’s the only thing I’ve managed to lose weight on without putting myself on a stressful diet.Â
‘I think I’m actually saving the NHS. I won’t be going to the NHS with an obesity related illness so I won’t be putting any strain on it. I’m loving life, honey.’Â
Gemma was recently left horrified after discovering one unlikely side effect of the weight loss jabs.
Speaking to Closer magazine, Gemma said: ‘I love growing my own vegetables, I’ve got potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers and spring onions. They are delicious’Â
Adding that she already has chickens, with some goats on order, she revealed that dedicating one day a week to gardening helps her keep everything in check

Gemma has been left concerned that her weight loss has left her ‘looking older’ as she shared a candid Instagram post this week pointing out her ‘next level’ crow’s feet.
She said: ‘I really don’t know what’s happened to me, I really don’t, It’s just come on me overnight. But it has been a year since I’ve had any little tweakments.’
‘I don’t know if it’s since I’ve been losing weight. I sure haven’t got “Ozempic face” yet, but it would be the dream right now,’
‘I’ve always had a fuller face, as you know. I do like expression around my eyes. I want to look natural still. But this just isn’t right. What has happened? I am 44 but this is taking it to levels that I never, ever imagined it’d get to.’
‘Ozempic face’ is a used to describe noticeable facial changes, such as sagging skin and a gaunt appearance, that can occur after rapid weight loss, often associated with the use of medications like Ozempic.
