And seemingly no one more so than her own daughter, Georgia May Jagger – who is on a quest to buy back her mother’s classic pieces.
While she has handed down some iconic items, much of Ms Hall’s collection was auctioned off for a homeless charity in 2008.
Ms Jagger, who is the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, donned the same pink, striped Bruce Oldfield dress adorned with a bow detail in 2023 as her mother had been photographed wearing in the 1990s.
Ms Jagger said: ‘Someone was selling the exact dress of hers… So I bought it and wore it.’
Ms Hall, 68, known for her old-school Hollywood glamour style, wore it with a string of pearls and red lipstick.
Thirty years later at a Vogue event in London, her daughter wore the same gown with no jewellery and a more understated pink lip.
A mother herself, Ms Jagger revealed to Vogue that she had acquired a pale-blue corseted Thierry Mugler dress previously owned by her mother. She wore this dress in 2021 to the launch of her hair brand, Bleach, in Los Angeles.

Ms Jagger expressed her penchant for wearing her mother’s outfits at significant events, stating, “My way of saying, if you have any of my mum’s vintage clothes, I will buy them off you.”
She added: ‘It’s nice to wear my mum’s clothes that she wore 20 years ago to an event. I’m really sentimental about the stuff of my mum’s.
‘I carry them in a bag on me when I travel and then just ship my clothes wherever I’m going.’
She added: ‘I’m going to be a more casual mum than my mum was. My mum was very not dressing down for anybody.
‘She would come to the school gates with a leopard print jacket and red lipstick and I was like can’t you, “Just wear a tracksuit, like other normal mums” but now I’m so supportive of her being as glamorous as she wants.
But I will probably be more regular at the school gates.’
Georgia May revealed her mother passed down a dozen pieces which she is ‘very precious about’ because her older sister, Lizzy, lost her vintage heirlooms in a fire in 2017.
‘My sister had a fire in her house years ago and a lot of my mum’s vintage stuff that was in the house burnt down.

‘It was really sad and one of the things was a Thierry Mugler multi-coloured chiffon dress, I managed to find that online, I don’t know how, there’s only a rare few of them.
‘Really because it was an amazing outfit that my sister had cherished and my mum had.’
Ms Hall had Elizabeth, James, Georgia May and Gabriel with Mick Jagger, 81, to whom she was married for nine years.
The pair divorced in 1999. Ms Hall married media magnate Rupert Murdoch in 2016 before they split in 2022.
Georgia May had her first child, Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick, in September with her 25-year-old skateboarder boyfriend, Cambryan Sedlick, 25.
