Atlanta police are actively searching for a 16-year-old teen considered to be in danger.
Samaunee Mosley was last seen in a car with her mother,Tychena Mosley, who, according to family members, is experiencing a mental health crisis.
They were last seen in a gray Dodge Durango with North Carolina plate, TMIN8734.
The Georgia Sun reports that Mosley suffers from schizophrenia and had been acting erratic before the pair vanished.
According to police, Samaunee was overheard sobbing while talking on the phone with her mother. The mother is currently being sought for arrest on charges of second-degree cruelty to children.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information that leads to the teen’s safe return. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
