My client saw Prince Andrew at party full of underage girls…it’s impossible he’s unaware of Epstein abuse, lawyer claims

A LAWYER who represented victims of Jeffrey Epstein said it would have been “impossible” for Prince Andrew to not have known about his abuse.

Spencer Kuvin said one of his clients said she saw the shamed Duke of York at a party that was flooded with underage girls.

The anonymous victim said she was raped at that very event in Manhattan.

Andrew has repeatedly claimed he knew nothing of Epstein’s criminal behaviour despite their friendship.

But Mr Kuvin told The Sun: “It’s impossible he did not see.

“It would be impossible because Epstein was always surrounded by young girls.

“There’s no way Andrew would not have known at the very least of the inappropriate nature of a grown man in his 50s cavorting around with teenagers.”

Mr Kuvin branded Andrew’s failure to tell authorities what he knows about Epstein, who died in 2019, an “insult” to victims.

The disgraced royal has ignored repeated calls to tell US authorities what he knows about paedo Epstein’s criminal behaviour.

In his notorious Newsnight interview more than five years ago, Andrew vowed to help the probe into Epstein and his warped madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

It is believed that Andrew may possess vital information that could assist authorities in uncovering the final missing piece of the puzzle to unveil the full scope of the couple’s disturbing “sexual pyramid scheme.”

But the royal has remained silent – and claimed he knew nothing of Epstein’s vile crimes despite their friendship.

Mr Kuvin said the duke is an “embarrassment” and said he has “absolutely no care for what the victims went through”.

He added: “His quote, unquote, admitted friendship with a pedophile is despicable.

“He’s someone not only do I not respect, but someone I think, quite frankly, should be shunned by society in general.

“Not only because of how he’s acted in the past, but even until the present day. He doesn’t act with integrity.”

In his infamous car-crash Newsnight interview, Andrew claimed he severed ties with Epstein in December 2010.

According to Andrew, he did not maintain any contact with Epstein following their publicized walk in Central Park, which occurred shortly after Epstein’s release from jail for crimes related to child sexual abuse.

But new emails between the pair emerged last week from February 2011, two months after Andrew claimed they had ceased contact.

In one, Andrew wrote: “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.”

What Andrew said about cooperating with US law enforcement:

During an intense interrogation by Emily Maitlis on Newsnight, aired on November 16, 2019, Prince Andrew seemed to express willingness to cooperate with law enforcement officials.

And yet ever since the Duke has been accused of ducking and diving after a war of words with US prosecutors over his cooperation – insisting he would help but seemingly failing to do so.

He was accused in 2020 of offering “zero” help to the probe into Epstein.

Here is exactly what Andrew said during his interview:

EMILY MAITLIS: You seem utterly convinced you’re telling the truth, would you be willing to testify or give a statement under oath if you were asked?

PRINCE ANDREW: Well I’m like everybody else and I will have to take all the legal advice that there was before I was to do that sort of thing.

But if push came to shove and the legal advice was to do so, then I would be duty bound to do so.

EM: Because you’ve said there are many unanswered questions, everyone affected wants closure, you would help to provide that closure.

PA: If there was… in the right circumstances, yes I would because I think there’s just as much closure for me as there is for everybody else and undoubtedly some very strange and unpleasant activities have been going on.

I’m afraid to say that I’m not the person who can shed light on it for a number of reasons, one of which is that I wasn’t there long enough.

And if you go in for a day, two days at a time, it’s quite easy I’m led to believe for those sorts of people to hide their activities for that period of time and then carry on when they’re not there.

EM: Virginia Roberts’s lawyers, legal team say that they’ve asked for a legal statement from you. There is an active FBI investigation, would you be willing to provide that?

PA: Again, I’m bound by what my legal advice is… legal advisers tell me.

And in a later statement, Andrew added: “Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”

Andrew has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and has denied allegations made against him.

But three years ago he paid millions to Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre in an out-of-court settlement, while denying sexual assault accusations.

Andrew was, however, spared a humiliating court battle over claims he raped and abused her when she was 17.

Court documents told how Andrew stayed at Epstein’s New York home, and was accused of taking part in an “underage orgy” on Epstein’s Caribbean island.

An unnamed Jane Doe – widely understood to be his accuser Giuffre – was allegedly “forced” by Epstein to “have sexual relations” with the duke.

She was allegedly told to “give the Prince whatever he demanded”.

In 2020, the FBI asked the Home Office for help to quiz Andrew.

That investigation was paused last year, however.

The Sun this week reported how Andrew could face a fresh FBI probe after the man set to be its new boss vowed to “do everything” to expose those who worked with his pal Epstein.

Donald Trump’s pick for FBI head, Kash Patel, has Andrew in his sights after telling a Senate hearing he is ready to investigate anyone connected to convicted paedophile Epstein.

Mr Patel vowed: “Child sex trafficking has no place in the US. I will do everything to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened.”

An Epstein victim told The Sun: “The FBI should reopen its investigation.

“Andrew has to face justice. He was friends with Epstein for years and has never answered for it. Kash Patel should release all the FBI’s files immediately.”

Police in Florida began investigating Epstein in 2006, before he was sentenced to 18 months in jail for soliciting a minor for prostitution two years later.

He was then found dead in his prison cell in a Manhattan jail in August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.
