Beatles biopic star Harris Dickinson has reportedly popped the question to pop star longtime girlfriend Rose Gray.Â
The actor from Britain, aged 28, who is set to portray John Lennon in various films directed by Sam Mendes, reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, also 28, some time ago, presenting her with a large diamond.
In one Instagram snap Rose looked gorgeous as she gazed into the camera while displaying the sparkler on her wedding finger.Â
These childhood sweethearts first crossed paths in school and have witnessed significant success in their respective careers, with Harris recently appearing in the provocative thriller Babygirl alongside Nicole Kidman.
Meanwhile Rose released her first album Louder, Please earlier this year and is currently supporting the Sugababes on tour.
According to a source cited by The Sun, “Harris and Rose have been in a long-term relationship. For those familiar with them, it was simply a matter of time before they would get engaged. Harris asked for her hand in marriage a while ago, and they are both ecstatic about it.”

The British actor, whose set to play John Lennon in Sam Mendes’ multiple movies, is said to have got down on one knee ‘a while back’ with the stunner showing off her diamond ring online
‘They aren’t planning on rushing down the aisle straight away but it’s exciting for them both. They are each other’s biggest fans and it’s like they were made for each other.’
MailOnline have contacted Harris’ reps for comment. Â
The lovebirds have also worked together with Harris directing Rosie’s music videos for her singles Blue in 2019 and 2023’s Afraid of Nothing.

Speaking about their professional relationship, Harris told Hunger Magazine in 2023: ‘It’s also testing for a relationship because you’ve got to open yourself up to a different kind of dynamic’.Â
‘But it definitely helps with the closeness because you can get to things quicker without that sense of carefulness and trepidation around being offensive’
Adding: ‘We’re so close that we can just be very direct. And I think she was the same with me, where if I had a c**p idea, she’d say: “No, we’re not doing that”.Â
It was announced earlier this month that Harris would play John Lennon, alongside Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney,  Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
Director Sam, 59, appeared at theCinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas revealing that all four films — called The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event — will come out in the same month, as he introduced his four leading stars to the stage.Â

A source said: ‘Harris has been with Rose for years and years. For everyone that knows them it was a matter of when, not if, they would get engaged’ (pictured 2024)Â

According to the director, Sony’s film boss Tom Rothman dubbed the films ‘the first binge-able theatrical experience’ –Â with all films set to be released in April 2028.
‘We’re not just making one film about the Beatles — we’re making four,’ Mendes announced. ‘Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply.’Â
‘The Beatles changed my understanding of music,’ Mendes added. ‘I’ve been trying to make a movie about them for years.’Â
‘I’m honoured to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,’ the filmmaker shared back in 2024, as per People.Â
Speaking at Cinemacon, Sam said that he felt the story of The Beatles were ‘too big for one film,’ and he didn’t want to turn it into a television series.Â
Meanwhile White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood has reportedly been cast as Pattie Boyd, George Harrison’s first wife.
The Sex Education star, 31, is said to be lined up to play the model, who was at the centre of one and rock and roll’s most famous love triangles.
Pattie married the Beatles guitarist George in 1966 when she was just 21 years old – but later left him for his close friend, singer Eric Clapton.
After Amiee’s performance in the third season of the White Lotus, she is said to be first choice to portray Pattie in the upcoming biopics, thanks to their striking resemblance.Â

A source told The Sun: ‘Aimee is a fantastic actress. The similarities between her and Pattie in terms of their looks is uncanny, but Aimee is a brilliant storyteller and is regarded as one of the country’s best acting talents.’Â
Pattie, George and Eric was the one of the most extraordinary love triangles in British music history, almost destroying the friendship of two music legends.Â
But Pattie later revealed that despite the heartbreak she caused George by leaving him for close friend Eric – he sent them a note to let them know all was forgiven.
Pattie’s beauty and style caught the attention of George and prompted him to pen love song Something for her.
But Eric also fell for her charms famously writing Layla – a song about unrequited love – about Pattie when she was still married to his friend.
Pattie said she felt ‘neglected’ by George when she left him after eight years of marriage but also tremendous guilt for walking out.Â
Their love triangle may play out in the Beatles biopics, of which there will be four movies each focusing on one of the members of the band.
