Two adults and a juvenile were found dead in Frisco, Texas, in what appears to be a double murder-suicide.
CBS News reported that a welfare check was requested by the Frisco Police Department at a home on Bancroft Lane around 4 p.m. The homeowner was missing from work, and attempts to reach her were unsuccessful. A family member visited the house before the authorities arrived and found two deceased individuals, prompting an immediate call to 911.
The homeowner, Stacy White, 53; her boyfriend, Ronald Morris, 54; and his son, Gavin Morris, 15, were found dead.
In a news release, the Frisco police mentioned that initial findings at the scene point to a possible double murder-suicide. However, the investigation by Frisco detectives is ongoing, and a final conclusion may take some time.
Eulanda Reddick, a long-time neighbor of White, revealed that Ronald Morris had moved in during the two years that he and White had been in a relationship.
“Twenty years we were neighbors; we’re sister neighbors,” Reddick said. “She kept to herself and had a really meek spirit. For the most part, she didn’t bother anybody, so for something like this to happen, it’s mind-blowing.”
William Reddick added, “She was respected. I will say that. She kept to herself. If you needed something, she would come through for you,” according to NBC DFW.
Frisco police have not released information about which person committed suicide. They are conducting a thorough investigation and will release more information as it becomes available.
