In Volusia County, Florida, a 37-year-old man who was previously convicted of manslaughter with a firearm and was on probation, got arrested on a Sunday evening for running away from a crash while in possession of drugs and a loaded gun, as reported by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they were assisting DeLand police with a hit-and-run crash when they received a 911 call for a second crash.

According to a news release, the person involved in that crash, identified as Timothy Woulard Jr., ran from deputies.

Watch the bodycam footage of the arrest below:

Deputies said after a chase and “several Taser deployments,” Woulard was placed under arrest.

The release stated that Woulard was found with the keys to the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run in his pocket, along with “several yellow rocks” that were confirmed to be fentanyl upon testing.

Deputies said they also recovered a loaded handgun Woulard was accused of dropping while running from them.

During their investigation, deputies learned that Woulard was on probation for manslaughter with a firearm.

He is now facing charges for violating his probation, as well as new charges including DUI with property damage, fleeing the scene of an accident, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition by a previously convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, non-violent resistance, and possession of a controlled substance.

Woulard was being held without bond, officials said.

Deputies did not release any details about the initial hit-and-row crash.
