At least five individuals sustained injuries following an incident where a car allegedly drove into a group of people in Germany.
Among the injured is a five-year-old girl who was involved in the unfortunate crash in Passau.
Reports from Bild indicate that the driver’s 38-year-old wife was also among those injured in the incident.
It is unclear if the driver intentionally drove into the crowd.
Three people were seriously injured, according to a police spokesperson.
Five are reportedly being treated in the hospital.
Cop cars were spotted at the scene of the incident.
The crash horror occurred around 3.30pm on Saturday near the main train station in the Bavarian city.
“At this time, it cannot be ruled out that the man deliberately drove the vehicle into the group of people,” police told local media.
Cops are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the authorities.
A police spokesman told Bild: “The group of five also included the man’s 38-year-old wife and his five-year-old daughter…
“Initial witness interviews in the group indicate a custody dispute.”
The driver was reported to be a 48-year-old man.
He has been detained, according to local media reports.
It comes after two people were killed when a black car sped through the busy German city of Mannheim in March.
It saw two people were tragically killed and at least 11 injured after the black Ford Fiesta sped into pedestrians.
And just weeks later, at least six people were injured when a car hit a crowd in Berlin.
Cops said the driver sped up before veering out of control and leaving one person crushed underneath the car.
