The spouse of a mother who tragically ended the lives of three of her children and severely harmed a fourth before attempting to take her own life by shooting herself in the head has surprisingly decided to support her.
Cliff Harshman said wife Tranyelle Harshman “was not a monster” in an emotional response hauntingly similar to Lindsay Clancy’s husband.

“This is so out of character. It’s unbelievable what had happened,” he told Cowboy State Daily.
“We’d been getting her help, and along the way, something didn’t work.”
Devastated Cliff is now forced to deal with the aftermath after Tranyelle, aged 32, dialed 911 to notify authorities that her four daughters had been shot at their residence in Big Horn County, Wyoming, on Monday.
The mom told the dispatcher exactly where to find the girls’ bodies before abruptly hanging up and turning the gun on herself.
Upon the arrival of deputies from the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office, they discovered that her oldest daughter Brailey, aged 9, and two younger girls, aged 2 and 3, had lost their lives.
Another seven-year-old girl had traumatic brain injuries and was flown to a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she’s fighting for her life.
Deputy Keri Angell, one of the first to enter the house, broke down in tears as she described witnessing the horrific sight.
“Seventeen years at the sheriff’s office and working crime scenes, and you don’t ever expect something like this,” she told CBS affiliate KRTV.
Cliff was Tranyelle’s second husband, and they shared two children together.
After her death, he opened up about her mental health struggles and said they had been getting her treatment when she did the unthinkable.
