An Illinois couple has been charged with beating an 11-year-old boy because he didn’t clean the bathroom the way they wanted.
Loves Park Police mentioned that Alexandria Thompson, aged 30, and Branden Crane, aged 35, were apprehended following an incident on December 29, 2024, subsequent to a prolonged investigation, as indicated by WTVO.
Police were called about that incident on January 1, when the caller said the 11-year-old had been beaten and had visible injuries.
Crane tried to deflect blame onto Thompson by alleging that he had witnessed her striking two children on approximately six different occasions. Despite his attempt to shift the focus, Crane still found himself facing charges of two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of unlawful restraint by the authorities.
Thompson, on the other hand, faced a string of charges including unlawful restraint, two counts of aggravated battery, domestic battery causing bodily harm, and domestic battery causing physical contact as a result of the incident.
Court documents say Thompson used several different household items to hit the children.
