The most booked restaurants in the UK revealed: Unknown eatery takes the top spot as the most popular diner in the UK - while a chain is number two

The most booked restaurants in Britain have been revealed, with a little known children’s experience taking the top spot.  

The Science Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Rooms, an educational experience in South Kensington, took the number one spot in the list.

Meanwhile, Cabana’s Covent Garden branch, was the second most popular.

The data has been released by The Fork, a website and app that allows customers to book restaurants. 

Although Italian venues were not included on the list, TheFork disclosed that Brits show a preference for pasta and pizza restaurants above all others, ranking this cuisine as the most popular on their list.

Ranking as the 9th most popular type of cuisine on the list, Indian food secured the second spot in the UK, closely followed by British cuisine in third place, Japanese in fourth, and Mediterranean in fifth.

The sixth most popular was European food, followed by French, International, Asian and finally in tenth place, Steakhouse.

The food itself is crafted in line with the theme, with spaceship shaped pastries and science beaker cups of delicious beverages.

The west London restaurant is rated an impressive nine out of 10 on TheFork, with customers drooling over ‘delicious’ food and ‘excellent’ service. 

On the higher end of the price range, the average meal at PJ’s will cost customers around £29, with some more luxury priced steaks raising the bar of otherwise average priced menu options including an £18 burfer and £14 Caesar salad.
