New York police released surveillance images of the suspect who they believe fatally shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Wednesday.
CNN reported that a law enforcement officer mentioned that pictures were taken of the suspect wearing a mask at a Starbucks close by around 20 minutes prior to the unfortunate killing of Thompson, who was 50 years old, in downtown Manhattan. Thompson was a resident of Minnesota but had traveled to New York for the yearly investors conference of an insurance firm, as documented by CrimeOnline earlier.

A source told CNN that UnitedHealthcare was aware of threats made before Wednesday’s shooting. While the threats did not mention names, they reportedly suggested that high-ranking officials would be targeted.
But Thompson left his hotel, across the street from the Hilton, where the conference was being held, alone and without any type of security detail.
The suspect fled the scene of the shooting on foot and then on a bicycle.
The NYPD is offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
